Dave's First Weekend in Lux

A very nice couple dave met on his walk in the "Faffenhall" neighborhood - in the low gorge valley near the "grund". They had gotten that reddish plant on the left in Czech Republic and were marveling at how much it had grown, but they didn't know what it was. The husband was born and had grown up in the same house. Dave spoke some beginner French with them and they took his photo and then he took theirs.

Dave's office. Check out the view of the field. there are many open fields throughout Luxemboug. so nice!

This is the "Gare" area - where dave catches the shuttle. It's supposed to be the "roughest" neighborhood in luxembourg but it's really fine. i guess at night it can get "rough" but it's all relative seeing as Luxembourg City is the safest city in the EU!

This is the bus that Dave takes to the train station the "Gare" where he catches the citigroup shuttle to his office.

Here is dave's favorite house across the street from his apt. it's kind of typical of the architecture there.

meanwhile, back at the ranch

while dave figures out the bus system, finds a doc to get his physical so he can become a luxembourg resident, and learns his new job, I pack. thank god the cats are such a huge help.
